In this video I will show you step by step on how to make this Easy Steamed Cassava Cake Dessert | Asian Dessert. It so delicious and great to make for any event or gathering party or make it for yourself at home. If you want to know how to make it, keep watching.

Ingredients:

2 bags (1 lb /16 oz/ 454 g) grated cassava
1 bags (1 lb / 16 oz/ 454 g) grated coconut
1 cup (250 mL ) coconut cream/milk
1/2 cup tapioca starch
3/4 cup sugar, add more if you prefer sweeter (I used stevia)
1/2 tsp salt to mixed with grated coconut
1/4 tsp salt to mixed with cassava batter
1 tsp pandan flavoring essence ( you can use vanilla extract or any other flavor)


Tip:
Use silicone bakeware for easy to get the dessert off the pan but if you don't have one, use oil to coat the pan before steam.
To prevent the knife from sticking the dessert when cutting, use plastic wrap to wrap the knife before cutting the dessert. After done cutting, just take the plastic wrap off and your knife will clean as new.
Steam about 30-40 minutes. If you see watery on the top of the cake, used paper towel to dap on the cake to absorb the water off.
Let it cool completely before cutting to prevent stickiness.
