Unusual PHOTOGRAPHY exhibit in Aarhus, Denmark

Aarhus in Denmark is a fragments of heaven hidden in plain sight and is the longest and tallest church in the country. Across Europe there are thousands of these pieces, some the size of cathedrals, all made with the idea of the City of God in mind. When brought together they reveal a mosaic picture of a divine idea- the celestial city. This short video is a walk through of a recent exhibit where we discussed these ideas.

What were once sites of religious pilgrimage are today place of touristic pilgrimage instead. What has been lost to time, which this series of photographs seeks to explore, is the idea that links them. From an exhibition at Aarhus Cathedral, Denmark, itself a fragment of this heavenly imagination. Aarhus may not be heaven (though it is the world's happiest city I am told) it gives us a taste of wha former generations were striving towards
