Описание к видео TRIP REPORT | 6,5 hours on a low-cost 737?! | Transavia Boeing 737-800 | Amsterdam - Dubai

Welcome to my channel!
This is my seventh flight report. In this one I’m taking you on a flight which I’ve been wanting to try for a long time: Transavia’s Amsterdam - Dubai route! Transavia is a Dutch low-cost airline.
This route is Transavia’s longest route and takes about 6,5 hours. It’s operated by their 737-800, equipped with a full capacity economy layout. Apart from this being a test flight for Transavia connect, there was no IFE on board and food and drinks had to be purchased. Was this worth all the money? In my opinion it is! Of course you get less, but we paid about half as much as you pay for a KLM of Emirates flight in this route!

There’s more flight reports coming, so subscribe not to miss these flight reports!

Overall score: ★ ★ ★ ★

- Seat: the seat was comfortable and legroom was good as well. Even though I’m not that tall it did become quite cramped after a few hours. 4 stars.
- In flight entertainment: One star, because there wasn’t any IFE, which is of course normal for low-cost airlines. What I did like is that our flight was one of the test flights for Transavia Connect, although it didn’t work for me as my phone didn’t want to connect. For what I saw Transavia connect is very complete, and I hope they will introduce it on all their flights in the future.
- Food: the food was good, there was a lot of choice but there weren’t much options for a meal. Food and drinks weren’t free, which is also logical since Transavia is a low cost airline. The crew did the meal service twice, which was great and you were always welcome to ask for something in the galley!
- Crew: the crew on this flight was great! They were the typical Transavia crew: nice and enthusiastic. Even this early in the morning! You could see that they made a good team together. When they heard that we worked in aviation as well they came to have a chat and the purser came to give us some “Pepernoten” (Dutch snack)
- Dubai International Airport: Great airport, but the staff at immigration was incredibly rude.
- Amsterdam Airport Schiphol: AMS is a great airport. There were no lines and we cleared security and immigration in under 10 minutes. Even this early in the morning there were a few stores and restaurants open for passengers like us on the first flight of the day.
