POV: First trail ride on a spicy young OTTB! Such a brave girl.

If you haven't seen her videos yet, London is a 6 yo green, forward OTTB whom her owner is restarting. I've been riding her in a few lessons, and a little on my own as well, and it's been such an incredible learning experience already!

Her owner rode her out on the trail with me riding Tori (her white Holsteiner that she is riding in this video) for the first time last week and they did phenomenally. The trails really seem to be London's happy place!

Today was my first time riding her out on the trails! She tends to be a bit hot and rushy in the arena — and a bit on this ride as well, especially since she spent the night in the barn with her pasturemates so Beau could rest his foot (he is recovering from an abscess - poor Beau can't catch a break lately), but overall she is so honest and tries so hard to do the right thing. She's smart as a whip, learns quickly, and is super athletic.

After we both got over some of our separate anxieties, we did quite well I think! Watch the video and decide for yourself.
