'चदरिया झीनी रे झीनी'
Saint Kabir here talks about the body, or human life, and how to utilize it. He talks about how he lived in the body, how other notable predecessors lived, and how an average man lives. He teaches us about the value of the gift of life, how preciously and patiently it has been created, and how we should handle it with utmost care and dignity.

Our body is like a delicately woven cloth and is dipped in the essence of Raam naam. A mesmerizing eight-petalled lotus(refers to the eight latent tendencies of the body) was used as a spinning wheel, and the five natural elements (Panch-tatva) were used as yarn to create this masterpiece. After 9-10 months of perseverance (time as celestial movement), finally, it was ready.

This wonderful work of art gets easily soiled by foolish people who don't understand the significance of this human birth. Kabira now talks about his own body. When he took his body, he let his Guru work on it. His Guru dyed it( permanent transformation of body based on experiences) and made it red, that is Kabira was transformed into a better human through knowledge and wisdom.

Sant Kabira now talks about how other noted men, who wore it, Dhruv, Prahlad, Sudama(all Bhaktas), and Shukdev(son of Vyasa). These wise men purified it (lived with awareness). Finally, Kabira talks about his own experience. He didn't let it get tainted. He maintained the newborn's awareness all his life. He was aware of its worth and he handled it with wisdom and care.

Enjoy this beautiful bhajan in the soothing voice of Kaluram Bamaniya.

Translation-

You piled rocks and stones to build a mosque
I ask the mullah shouting his prayer,
has your god become deaf?
Statues rest in the temple whereas the mosque is clear and clean
Search in the temple of your heart, you will find him, the lord right there

This body is a woven cloth dyed in the subtle colors of my lord
A spinning wheel, as an eight-petal lotus makes it move,
it weaves five elements and three qualities

It took nine to ten months to weave this subtle cloth
It is woven just right, perfectly, a subtle cloth of subtle color
Right and left nasal channel, wrap and weft,
and flowed the middle channel, a subtle cloth of subtle color

When the woven cloth arrived, it was sent to the washerman
He washes and beats it on the stone of awareness
and yet it shined, a subtle cloth of subtle color

When the washed cloth came back,
it went to the dyer, this subtle cloth of subtle color
He dyed it in the colors of love,
it was made golden, a subtle cloth of subtle color

The cloth was given to wear, but being unknown to the art of wearing,
we made it dirty, a subtle cloth of subtle color

Arjun wore it without any insight,
he foolish made the cloth dirty,
a subtle cloth of subtle color

Dhruv, Prahalad wore it and Sukhdev wore it,
made it pristine and spotless,
a subtle cloth of subtle color

Kabir wore it in such a skill
That it was left the way he got it, untainted and pure
A subtle cloth of subtle color
