Continuing on.. 3rd video on the saddle, covering the actual measurements and scraping of the fixed side of the upper- and lower dovetail ways. Had to divide this into yet another video as this became long enough as it was, so the gib scraping and measurements with these inserted will follow in the next video. The main topic is of course as explained in the previous video, with the possibly somewhat atypical use of the milling machine to find out how good the transverse ways system measured instead of relying on what would normally be a good reference side.
