I would've uploaded this yesterday, but I had technical difficulties with the internet, so I had to delay the editing and uploading for today instead.
Yesterday, I went from work to Marmet, West Virginia, to capture this 2001-DC. Nobody knows when Kanawha County tests their Fire sirens, so I was bummed I didn't get a lucky shot of the Thunderbolt 1000 going off. If anyone knows when Kanawha tests their fire sirens, please tell me in the comments when it does because the Thunderbolt is active, so when I know when West Virginia tests their Fire sirens, I'm going to get that Thunderbolt next when I go back to West Virginia.
However, West Virginia tests their Tornado sirens on the Fourth Wednesday at Noon, but I got there around 9:00 to get some rest at a nearby Kroger before it tested. What worried me was that the 2001-DC went off a few minutes late, and I was about to assume that I had come all this way after working all night for the test to be canceled, then all this sudden: "wwwooooOOOOOOO" It went.
Really, though, someone who knows when Kanawha tests their fire sirens, please let me know so I can return for the Thunderbolt 1000 one of these days. The Thunderbolt 1000 Is only used as a Fire siren.
