OUR GREAT STEAM TRAIN AND DISC GOLF ADVENTURE OF 2024

Brad and Dave have been friends since Brad was two years old and together they grew up loving model trains, real trains and golf. Taking a ride on these Colorado steam trains has been a dream of theirs for many many years. Due to Brad and Dave both retiring recently we were able to finally plan this trip.

We planned stays at Caboose Cabins as often as possible for the road trip, including an Airbnb Train Crew Boarding House, we bought tickets for both the Cumbres & Toltec train and the Durango Silverton, visited the train museum, and went disc golfing wherever possible, including a few rounds of landmark disc golf in the neighborhoods when no course was nearby.

We ended the trip with the Amtrak Borealis speeding through Oconomowoc and lunch at the train themed Depot Restaurant, Maxim’s Family Restaurant and Bakery.
