Jewellery insider Katerina Perez is a specialist with professional knowledge & insight of the industry. Since training as a gemmologist at The Gemmological Association of Great Britain (Gem-A), Russian-born London-based Katerina has worked as a freelance journalist & content editor since 2011. She has written articles in both English & Russian for VO+, Robb Report & Kommersant, amongst others. Since founding her website in 2013, Katerina has championed the work of talented jewellers across the globe, from established brands to fledgling designers whom she has personally scouted. Katerina’s mark on the industry has so far been recognised in her appointment as a judge on the panel for one of the world’s most renowned jewellery competitions (Couture Design Awards, Las Vegas or HRD Awards), as well as her invitations to give educational talks by The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) or CREA Institute in Switzerland as well as hold seminars at IJL, JCK, Junwex & others.

Danielle Miele has been a jewelry collector since she was four years old, but her career in the jewelry business officially started in 2008 when she first began her successful blog, Gem Gossip. The jewelry blog focuses on jewelry trends, antique & period jewelry, celebrity jewelry, as well as exclusive designer interviews. It is also a hub for gemstone & jewelry education, considering Danielle’s Graduate Gemologist studies through the Gemological Institute of America. With five years experience as head gemologist & appraiser at a local antique jewelry store behind her, she now works on her blog full-time. You can currently find Danielle traveling the US on her #JewelryRoadTrip project where she has visited over 100 jewelry stores, studios, & antique shops across 21 different states, giving each a spotlight into her audience of over 200k people. When not on the road or behind her computer, she is collecting antique jewelry (she has over 300 rings) & playing with her son.

Award-winning communications & public relations strategist, Jen Cullen Williams is known for creativity & connections, & specializes in enhancing the market exposure for brands, retailers & organizations in the fashion, jewelry, luxury & consumer goods markets. Prior to launching her consultancy in 2019, she began her career at fashion firm Red Light PR & later became the managing director of the agency Luxury Brand Group from 2007-2019, where she continues to consult. She has spent the past 15 years working on brand development & communications programs for some of the leading jewelry industry companies & has secured placements in top media outlets including Forbes, New York Times, Vogue, Oprah, People, Who What Wear & many others. Jen serves on the JCK Events advisory board, the national board of Women’s Jewelry Association (WJA) as a Regional Director & is a past president of the WJA Los Angeles chapter. In 2020, she was a judge for the INSTORE Cool Stores competition, & currently co-writes a monthly column for National Jeweler on creative connecting. She received a B.A. degree from California State University, Long Beach & an Executive Education Certificate in Global Leadership from Harvard Business School.
