Tallulah Bankhead: Early Life and Family

American actress and Alabama native Tallulah Bankhead (1902-1968) hailed from a rich and fascinating Southern family. With politicians, mine owners, Confederate captains, Coca Cola shareholders and historians among her relations, Tallulah Bankhead never knew her mother. Incredibly close with her sister and father, Tallulah started acting in London and returned to America for The Little Foxes and Hitchcock's Lifeboat (1944). This video relies upon Tallulah's personal memories in her 1952 autobiography.
