Olango Island is part of Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu and is possibly the most overlooked place in the greater Cebu City area to visit. Most of the locals love see and to interact with foreigners. Something as simple as smiling will get you a ton of positive reactions. Riding a bicycle in a small community in the Philippines is an experience unlike any other I have found.

There is almost always something going on anywhere you go in the Philippines. This visit to Olango Island was no different. A festival called Baliw-Baliw (defined as insane; crazy; mad) was going on and it lived up to its name.
