Physics in Action: Magnet Falling Through a Conductive Pipe

Описание к видео Physics in Action: Magnet Falling Through a Conductive Pipe

In this video, we analyze the motion of a magnet as it falls through a conductive pipe. First, we calculate the emf induced on the pipe as the magnet falls by using Faraday's law. Then we use this emf to calculate the force acting on the magnet. We finally write down the equation of motion for the magnet and solve it to find the velocity of magnet as a function of time.
