In this video, we will demonstra a common problem on Hyundai Elantra with 1.8 engine. Our Hyundai Elantra has 69k miles and it developed an engine ticking noise. Especially when it is cold you can hear the ticking / knocking more. I did some research and this seems to be a common problem and most likely it is a piston slap.
