Welcome to our first-time watching as we react to The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies (2014).

The heart-pounding conclusion to "The Hobbit" trilogy was filled with action, better visuals and a monumental final battle. It is always bittersweet to finish a series off but seeing Bilbo Baggins' journey was definitely worth it.

Directed by Peter Jackson, "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" picks up where the previous films left off, plunging us into the midst of the epic conflict for control of the Lonely Mountain and its vast treasures.\

More characters from "The Lord of the Rings" make an appearance here! We got to see Galadriel, Lord Elrond, Saruman and Gandalf finally confront the darkness that has been brewing all along and it's now revealed to us it was Sauron this entire time.

We hope that you enjoy our reactions, commentary and discussions as we delve into the film's themes and how it impacted the fantasy genre.
