The Origin Story of Effie Morales | Power Book II: Ghost Season 3

Effie Morales is someone who brings a certain edge to Power Book 2 Ghost in many ways. She's got ties to the OG Power series being at school with Tariq St Patrick at Choate, where she snaked him out and had him removed because even though she grew feelings for him, he was her competition.

But this was the start of a relationship (business and personal) between them as we saw Effie return only briefly in Season 1. But the brief cameos showed us how she understands Tariq, how Tariq trusts her judgement over many and how she's the only one he could really turn to and be honest with and this stems from their time at Choate.

In Season 2 as Effie played more of a prominent role, she was there for Tariq and she proved she could be trusted, although she did go behind his back when she killed Lauren which will no doubt raise some tension between the two when the truth is revealed at some stage in the future.

But going into Season 3 Effie really does remain a mystery and some things to watch out for is, who did she text in the OG Power series about Tariq being the competition and who was her brother that was killed in a robbery gone wrong? As we learn more about Effie, these are two things we need to keep an eye on, as well as her relationship with Brayden, Diana and Cane as well as Tariq.
