We did this on the 17th March 2023. It's an 8.5 mile stretch through a variety of landscape which never strays far from the Thames itself. Whichever end you start you can take the 800 or 850 bus. It cost us £2.00 for a single. The Ringo App is your friend for parking. Once underway just take your sweet time and meander like the river herself. It's beautiful.
