05/09/2024 Sabula, Ia. This old Milwaukee Road trackage is still earning it's keep! I caught the swing bridge opening and closing along with a tug boat. The weather turned wet and kept the drone time to a minimum. I was able to catch this East bound CPKC manifest as it made a back up move across the bridge and causeway. Savanna, Il. After aborting the mission in Sabula because of the rain I finally caught the Empress! My first time to video under an umbrella but it still worked out ok. Caught a BNSF grain train shortly before the steamer made it's move!
