Tight skin acne extractions! Comedonal acne with some inflammatory nodules. Great session must see!

This is a perfect example of catching the acne before severe scarring occurs. These clogged pores (comedones) can be the precursor to big red inflammatory pus filled acne nodules that can erode collagen and cause pitted scars. He had some inflammatory nodules starting. He had been on his acne regimen I prescribed him for several weeks. Retinoids will cause a tightness to the skin which you can see clearly in this video. Many acne papules are already regressing , breaking down, and shrinking. The pores that are still clogged we are extracting and together with the medications we will get him stable. The very small clogged pores actually improve with a retinoid, the bigger ones can take much longer so that’s why I recommend extractions.
