I follow the workshop manual to learn how to pull the 40v 4.2 engine out of the 2001 Audi S8. Although the body panels and frame are aluminum, most of the hardware (and definitely the subframe) is majorly rusted. The car and I do battle as I complete my way through a handful of pages of steps that end up taking 4 weeks of holidays, evenings and weekends.
