Charles F. Lummis & Lummis House

Charles F. Lummis had an incredible impact on the cultural history of Los Angeles, but, as history tends to do, he’s been mostly forgotten. He built his home, the Lummis House, by hand, and he wanted it to be a museum. He got his wish. The Lummis House is an incredible piece of Southern California history, it’s free and open every Saturday and Sunday.
