Welcome! Today is a pippin' day at The Lucky Penny Shop. I have had this popcorn maker for 4 or 5 months and finally got it on video. I do believe this was mad in the 50's and I have seen 2 other versions which are similar but not exactly the same. One is just the popcorn popper on a metal base and the other like this, but a different popper. I think that one is a newer version. I will say this worked great, but it does get very hot! Be careful. The popcorn was crispy and not chewy like I thought it would be with the steam building up under the glass. What do you think about what I was saying about the kernels. Back in the 50's they were not genetically modified and did not pop as big as these kernels. They also did not mention butter or salt! Your thoughts? Let me know, I'm always curious as to what you al lthink.
