Why This Classic Sailing Ship has an ACTUAL Front Door - Rebuilding Schooner Tijgerhaai EP17

EP17 - A front door on a sailing ship is almost never done, yet here we are, we've just installed a forward door on this 100 foot sailing ship and in this video I'll explain why. Watch along as we build an aluminuim door from scratch, as well as some other small jobs, like welding the main mast to the keel, lengthening the main sail slide track and installing some verntilation air scoops.

Schoener Tijgerhaai (Tigershark) started life in 1944 as a canadian built tugboat and she has been in my family for almost 50 years. Together with my dad, I am rebuilding this beautiful sailing ship, to make her ready for new adventures!
