GERMANY: St. Georgen, town in Black Forest 4K

Sankt Georgen im Schwarzwald is a town in Southwestern Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The town lies at an altitude of 800 to 1000 meters above sea level. The largest part of the municipality, almost 60 km2, consists of forest and fields.

The charming landscape in combination with a variety of exciting destinations in the vicinity make St. Georgen a popular destination for a holiday in the Black Forest (German: Schwarzwald). It has numerous guesthouses and farms with holiday apartments. The mountain town of St. Georgen is not called the "sunny mountain town" for nothing. While the valleys disappear under a thick blanket of fog, St. Georgen often has bright sunshine.
