Описание к видео The Italian PREPOSITIONS (DI, A, DA, IN, CON, SU, PER, TRA, FRA)

Ciao! Today's lesson is about prepositions in Italian. There are 2 types of prepositions, "semplici" and "articolate". In this video, I'm only showing you the first ones which are: DI, A, DA, IN, CON, SU, PER, TRA, FRA.

In brief, here is when you use them:
1) DI: ownership, comparisons, origins

2) A: location, destination, recipient
** it becomes "AD" in front of a vowel

3) DA: origins, periods of time, passive

4) IN: location, destination, transports

5) CON: with whom, how, transports

6) SU: location (on surfaces), topic

7) PER: pass across, fixed-term periods, cause/goal/destination, recipient

8) TRA/FRA: meaning of "between"/"among", period of time in the future

Watch the video to learn more through real-life examples :)
