Manusay Naik's Journey At AIM for Seva

Описание к видео Manusay Naik's Journey At AIM for Seva

Manusay Naik, a student of Class 6, wants to join the Indian Army.

His aspirations took flight after he joined the Bhim Saroj Khanna and Gera Nirula AIM for Seva Chatralayam for Boys in Katni, Madhya Pradesh.

Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati firmly believed that formal schooling is a great leveller of opportunity - and wanted every child in the rural and tribal parts of India to complete schooling. More importantly, he understood that uprooting a child from his/her social fabric was not desirable. Thus, education had to reach the villages.

This was the basis of the 'Chatralayam' - an enabler of education, rooted in the local culture, language and tradition. Our network of 101 Chatralayams supports over 3,500 students across 15 Indian states, year on year. Each Chatralayam is a holistic ecosystem wherein a living space, nutritious food, schooling, after school tuition, extra curricular activities, yoga and sports are provided completely free of cost.

Our Chatralayams act as platforms to help children from rural and tribal India to benefit from formal education and holistic value-based learning - including creative thinking, leadership, team work, proactive thinking and behaviour and sustainable living.

There are thousands of children like Manusay Naik who yearn for a chance to create a better future for themselves. Visit our website to see how our 101 Chatralayams are making a difference to thousands of children 15 Indian states: www.aimforseva.in
