From the World Series to JAIL — dumb choices at Game 4 at Chase Field

This was just one of many dumb things. Another was ME and my Halloween costume. Game 4 of the 2023 World Series between the Texas Rangers and Arizona Diamondbacks took place on October 31st, so lots of fans (and even one of the players) dressed up.

Yet another dumb thing was how the D'backs played this game. They were losing, 10-0, in the 3rd inning thanks to an error that led to FIVE unearned runs, and they ended up losing by FOUR runs, so as I mentioned at the end of this video, the outcome should've been different.

Personally I had a great time running around during batting practice and catching some (commemorative!) baseballs, wandering before the game and seeing Albert Pujols up close, and camping out in the standing room area during game and watching ton of people walking past in their own costumes. That made it hard to see part of the game, but whatever. It was cool just to be there, and being crammed into one seat for the whole night wouldn't have been nearly as fun.

Anyway, as I mentioned at the end of this video (which, by the way, was filmed and edited by Rachel Messbauer), this was my final game of the 2023 season. Next game for me? Probably/hopefully the MLB Opening Series in South Korea. That's more than four months away, but it's never too early to get excited . . . plus I miiiiiight have some bonus MLB action coming your way this winter. More soon(-ish), I promise!
