Hail Prometheus, Because... Dude Kinda Saved You.

Описание к видео Hail Prometheus, Because... Dude Kinda Saved You.

Let's talk about the guy that is essentially the Jesus figure in Greek Mythology, which would make him... Jesus before Jesus. Dare I say... the OG Jesus? This myth even comes with its very own flood. Very biblical indeed. Of course, I'm talking about Prometheus, the titan/god who not only created us humans, but also protected us from the wrath of Zeus. This is the creation myth from Greek Mythology, and the story behind the creation of mankind would not be complete without Pandora's box. I'm sure you've heard about the infamous and mysterious box before, but you might have not heard all that much about the woman tasked with bringing the box and its evils to the world, or... why she even did all that in the first place. So.... this is the last episode of Season 1 of Keeping Up With The Greek Gods, because it caps the era of gods. From here on out, heroes and demi-gods will take the center stage, but if you were waiting for my Athena video — don't worry: Since Athena is heavily involved with most of Greek Mythology's hero, she will feature in Season 2. For now... let's talk about Prometheus and Pandora... and Zeus, because of course he has in hand in every story...

Episode 10 Of Keeping Up With The Greek Gods — Prometheus & Pandora

Notes:
You already know how it is with mythology... it's scattered. Scattered all over the place. This story is no different, because if you dig deep enough, there are not only variations to humanity's creation myth... there are actually different versions altogether.
Sigh.
So... once again I tried my best to streamline the best story for you, and even managed to merge the flood into this this tale. Usually, the tale of the flood makes no sense within the context of Prometheus and his punishment, but... I think I made it work. As always, I encourage you to get into further research, but — as always — I am confident that on a surface to intermediate level, this is all you need to know about Prometheus and Pandora, and rest assured that there are no lies told in this video. I keep it real for y'all.

Get All My Artwork & Support The Channel:
I get a lot of questions about my artwork and where it’s from or rather who draws it. Well the answer is that I create it — I don’t draw it. I use AI to create the artwork, using specific prompts, specific style influences from 18th and 19th century artists, and I spend about 10 hours per video just on the artwork. Each video has roughly double the artwork of what you actually see in the video, so a lot of it is unused.
The good news about that is that you can get all that artwork on my Patreon:
The artwork I do use, and the artwork I don’t use.
Plus, by subscribing to my Patreon you are making a major contribution to Briefed and helping me to keep this channel going, because this is my full time job and the survival of the channel and quality of the videos greatly depends on said support. In return for supporting, you get more than the artwork though — you also get access to exclusive videos and you can download every video you see on here to download and keep.
If you choose to become a Patron — thank you. I do not take it for granted.
