Cleveland Bay Horse - Equine showcase - Scottish Smallholder Festival 2020

Описание к видео Cleveland Bay Horse - Equine showcase - Scottish Smallholder Festival 2020

The Cleveland Bay is England’s oldest breed of horse with a history that goes beyond a time when records were kept. It is an incredibly versatile horse that can turn its hoof to all disciplines, a legacy of its need to adapt through the ages to the changing face of civilisation.

Initially bred in the Cleveland Hills, they were used by farmers on the land, for riding and as pack animals. It is a horse with substance, activity, stamina and a temperament that is unsurpassed by any other breed of horse.

The Cleveland Bay is in the Critical category on the RBST watchlist.

If you want a sensible horse that is calm and intelligent then the Cleveland Bay is the horse to go for.

This video is part of the native breed equine showcase for the 2020 Scottish Smallholder Festival, organised by Smallholding Scotland.
