I cried in the plane from Saudi Arabia; I knew the troubles ahead of me in Kenya_Wairimu

On her way back from Saudi Arabia, after 2 years of domestic work, Wairimu Margaret could not hold back tears of pain.

She knew too well that she was coming back to the country, to more troubles than when she left for greener pastures.

She had not saved anything for 2yrs, apart from a two months salary.
Reason being, she left an ailing mom in Kenya who frequently went to hospital after losing her ability to hear using the money she sent on a monthly basis.
The same money was used to pay her mum's house rent who takes care of Wairimu's daughter as well as cater for her school fees.

A debt she had taken when leaving the country, was now in running into a hundred thousand plus....

Note: Wairimu who is a trained teacher wants to go back to the gulf, so that she can raise money to buy her mom a hearing aid(machine)... She also wants anyone or a children's home that is willing to stay with her daughter when she is away, to assist her, as communication between Wairimu's daughter and her grandmother is limited.
