Sonic Generations was striking. More than 10 years after its highly anticipated launch, it has been praised by critics, marking a strong entry in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. But despite being a pure throwback, it pales in comparison to the nostalgia fanfare of Sonic 3 & Knuckles or Sonic Adventure 2.
