As the gaming community is caught up in Elden Ring and its vast world, I have something to confess: I've never actually finished Dark Souls. I've barely even played it. It's time to change that. This was the year that I actually gave Dark Souls a real playthrough, and with that, I documented my experience of struggling through and ultimately appreciating one of the most thoroughly discussed games of this age.
