I understand this is a LONG video but my goal is to cover all the instances and niche cases that can occur in gameplay. There is a LOT of ground to cover and I hope that I'm clear in how it all works, please leave a comment or ask questions on the video or on the SWAE discord!

Additional Note on Dust Field:
If a ship (attacking or defending) is overlapping the dust field, if Line of Sight is traced across the Dust field that is under the ships targeting point (either attacker or defender), you cannot perform an attack.
You'll have to use your best judgement.

Just found another thing that can be used in support of the whole "Dust field still counts even with a ship over it".
The FAQ for Jamming barrier.
“While attacking, if neither the attacker or defender are overlapping an objective token and line of sight is traced across an objective token or the line between the two objective tokens, the attacker must choose and remove half of the dice from the attack pool, rounded down, before rolling.”

Please know, that my explanations are not based on how "I" feel a card works (unless I state that) but to show credibility, I ensure I'm conversing with persons that have TO'd at regionals, nationals, or worlds for Star Wars Armada. The card or rule explanations, are not officially supported by FFG,

These are rulings by human beings working with what we're currently given by FFG. FFG can (and likely will) make changes or clarifications that will either coincide or invalidate what is said.
