Gloria in Excelsis Deo. Et in terra pax hominibus bonae voluntatis.
Glory to God in the highest. And on earth peace to men of good will.

Laudamus te. Benedicimus te. Adoramus te. Glorificamus te.
We praise thee. We bless thee. We worship thee. We glorify thee.

Gratias agimus tibi propter magnam gloriam tuam.
Thanks we give to thee because of thy great glory.

Domine Deus, Rex coelestis, Deus Pater omnipotens.
Lord God, King of heaven, God the Father Almighty.

Domine Fili unigenite, Jesu Christe.
Lord Son only begotten, Jesus Christ.

Domine Deus, Agnus Dei, Filius Patris.
Lord God, Lamb of God, Son of Father.

Qui tollis peccata Mundi, miserere nobis.
Who takes away the sins of the world, have mercy on us.

Qui tollis peccata Mundi, suscipe deprecationem nostram.
Who takes away the sins of the world, receive our supplication.

Qui sedes ad dexteram Patris, miserere nobis.
Who sits at the right hand of the Father, have mercy on us.

Quoniam tu solus sanctus. Tu solus Dominus.
For thou alone are holy. Thou alone are the Lord.

Tu solus altisimus, Jesu Christe.
Thou alone most high, Jesus Christ.

Cum Sancto Spiritu in gloria Dei Patris. Amen.

This piece was sung by the Mission Basilica Schola and conducted by Matthew Gray in the historic Mission Basilica for the Most Holy Trinity, May 26th, 2024. The quartet was sung by Stephanie Wright (soprano), Natalie Headland (alto), Eric Carter (tenor), and Bob De Carlo (bass).
