A Tale of Two Roosters - Keeping Multiple Roosters in One Flock

Can you keep multiple roosters in one flock? I do! This video introduces you to my two main roosters, Kowalski and Astarion. I tell you about my flock journey, how I ended up with a working system for maintaining more than one rooster in my backyard flock. A flock with two roosters can be a better flock than one with only one, or none! I also go over the factors that are important when considering if this system can work for you. You need enough space for all your chickens to stay out of each other's way, the right breed of rooster, the right way to raise your second (or third!) rooster, enough coops for each sub-flock, a feeding system that reduces conflict, and an acceptance of the risks involved. Backyard chicken keeping can be so much more awesome with roosters!
