This abridged version of the 2020 arrangement of Lord Kitchener's renowned Calypso is the first of many to come by aspiring professional musician, Kamaria Charles Richards - frontline pannist with BP Renegades Steel Orchestra. It is dedicated to the loving memory of the late Counselling Psychologist Amelia Haygood - founder and executive producer of 'Steelbands of Trinidad and Tobago' (DE4011), the first (in 1987) of fifteen albums of my recordings for Delos Music. Amelia the visionary foresaw “the therapeutic value of happy steelband melodies in a stressful world.” Thus evolved the digitized compilation ‘Baby Needs Pan Sweet Pan (24-Bit FLAC) on the Sanch Electronix Limited Label in 2021.
