Описание к видео Alexandre Bruneau - Verset No. 27 in D minor

This piece comes from Alexandre Bruneau's Collection of 150 Versets, Op. 407. Bruneau was born in Berry, France and served as organist of Bourges Cathedral and was a professor of music at l'École Normale de Bourges for several decades. Bruneau was a recipient of the Croix d'officier d'Acadamie for his contributions to music. Many of his works can be downloaded for free from IMSLP.org or from the Bibliotheque Nationale de France.

Played on the sample set for a Dutch harmonium of the small Reformed Church in Kézdimártonfa (Transylvania), Romania. The church's original organ is in total disrepair and, because the church does not have sufficient funds to undertake costly repairs, this harmonium was donated by a Dutch parish.

Very special thanks to both László for supplying a photograph of the real instrument and Augustine for putting us in touch and producing the sample set. Much appreciated.

This sample set can be downloaded for free from Augustine's Virtual Organs: https://hauptwerk-augustine.info/Home...
