Last stage that Ruined the entire game!!!

I really liked Return of the Jedi. I really did!

Yes, the game is very tough with all the instant death platforming stages and endless armies of respawning enemies. And somehow they managed to design some of the stages so unfair that you want to smash your controller. And some stages are nearly unbeatable without powerups.

Nevertheless, this game has it. The X-factor. It’s a magical journey with some of best graphics on Super Nintendo. The game is accompanied by beautiful soundtracks from the movie and sound effects are also excellent. I would even go as far as to say that Super Star Wars trilogy games are the best in the entire Super Nintendo’s game library. Yes, I consider them better than Super Mario World or Donkey Kong games, or countless rpgs. I am just not a huge fan of rpgs and childish colourful graphics.

But enough of that! Let’s continue with Return of the Jedi!

After beating Darth Sidious, they will treat you with two horrible stages. First of those two is long and boring, but at least passable in one run. Second of those two is nearly unpassable. It’s long, even more boring and allegedly the hardest stage in the entire game.

But it’s not difficulty that bothers me!

This stage is just so dumb. After few tries you feel immediately that you don’t want to do it. It’s just so bad and boring. Awful design. It’s like after beating Shao Kahn in Mortal Kombat you would have to play one more stage of Pit Fighter to beat the game.

The last stage of the game ruined the entire game!

But enjoy my struggles and ending!
