Devi Stuti | Kathak Manch Pravesh | Performance by Sunisha Dasmunshy

Hello everyone!

This Devi Stuti is the first piece that I had performed for my Manch Pravesh that took place on 4 March 2023 at the National Library Building in Singapore.

Choreographed specially by my guru, Guru Jyotika Joshi, this invocational piece presents the different forms of the Hindu goddess, Durga. She is shown to combat evils that threaten peace and prosperity while presenting the power of good over evil. This song is set in Raag Parmeshwari.

I had been blessed with the opportunity to perform with live music, alongside renowned artistes and Gurus currently teaching at the Singapore Indian Fine Arts Society (SIFAS).
