Dekhecho Ki Taake | Manch Pravesh | Kathak Performance by Sunisha Dasmunshy

Hello everyone!

This song, titled Dekcho Ki Taake is the third piece I performed for my Manch Pravesh, which took place on 4 March 2023 at the National Library Building in Singapore.

Presenting a modern take on a thumri, this piece depicts a young naayika searching for the mysterious and adventurous Krishna. She is in wistful pursuit of Krishna, hoping to find him as he runs wild between storm clouds and rainbows. This piece has been choreographed by my Guru, Guru Jyotika Joshi.

I had also been blessed with the opportunity to perform with live music, alongside renowned artistes and Gurus currently teaching at the Singapore Indian Fine Arts Society (SIFAS).
