New Holland 489 Haybine Repair

Описание к видео New Holland 489 Haybine Repair

While getting ready to cut hay, the 489 haybine that had just been working suddenly was plugging every few feet. What Alan thought was just a simple fix ended up being much worse. The wobble box/gearbox had locked up. Alan made a call to the nearest dealership only to find out that a remanufactured box was $4,500! That was way above our budget and more than it would cost to buy a different machine. Luckily, Alan found a parts haybine on Craigslist for only $500 with a working gearbox. After making the swap from the parts machine to ours and a few other parts, the haybine was ready to test out. Did our repair work? Watch to find out!
