I rebuilt this steam locomotive in the style of a Marklin maxi model Emma.
Also, the tree trunk wagon, crane wagon and luggage wagon have been put together to Marklin's example.
I disassembled and restored a faulty Maxi train to use as the locomotive chassis..
The motor is the original Marklin 12Volt DC, power from the tracks.
The parts used are renovated Meccano, Marklin and Stokys, some of the paint was stripped and blackened. The locomotive needs to be heavy enough to keep it on the straight track, but it drives great. The plan is to make it remote-controlled so it may be operated on non-powered garden rails.
