2021 Honda CRF450 RX 2nd Ride

2nd ride on the 2021 Honda CRF450RX. This loop has some old school GP style track along with trails in the woods. For a big 450 the RX is fairly easy to ride in the tight stuff. The power is strong yet linear and easy to control. Traction control takes the edge off and makes the power feel smoother which helps on the trails (I was running the soft Map 2 with highest Traction Control in this video). The hydraulic clutch feels very good with a consistent engagement point and fairly light pull effort. The off road focused suspension setting felt plush in these conditions. The all new chassis is narrow and still has that CRF quick and agile handling though the seat is higher and thinner. The biggest ergo miss for me is the muffin top RX fuel tank: wide and tall and noticeable all the time. Dunlop AT81 tires have a softer carcass and work well over a wide variety of terrain.
