Prawn Masala recipe made with onions, tomato, ginger, garlic and few spices is extremely delicious dish which goes very well with rice or roti.
Prawns cook very fast and also has lot of water content in it. The trick to making this dish perfectly is by cooking the masalas very well before adding the prawns. That way the liquid from the prawns will just be perfect. If not, the whole masala will become watery. If you try to dry up the liquid, the prawns will get overcooked and rubbery.

Ingredients :

The Making of Red Chilli Paste :
(only 2 tbsp to be used in the recipe, can use more as per spice required)
½ litre Water
12 Byadgi Red Chillies (stalks removed)

Other Ingredients :
2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
1 tbsp Ghee (Clarified Butter)
½ tsp Shahi Jeera (Caraway Seeds)
1 medium Onion (chopped finely)
8 to 10 Garlic cloves (finely chopped)
1 tsp Ginger (finely chopped)
2 tbsp Red Chilli Paste (made earlier)
½ tsp Turmeric Powder
½ tsp Cumin Powder (Jeera Powder)
1 tsp Fennel Seeds (saunf) Powder ( coarsely ground)
1 tsp Coriander Powder
2 tbsp Water
1 tbsp Tomato Ketchup
1 tsp Vinegar
2 to 3 tbps Coriander Leaves (finely chopped)

Note : tsp is teaspoon
tbsp is tablespoon
