These features are game-changers, allowing players to equip their ships with additional heroes and powerful enhancements. We'll guide you through optimizing these updates to stay ahead of the competition.

Navigator: Equipping Your Ship
The Navigator feature allows you to equip ships with a fourth and fifth hero, significantly boosting your ship's attributes. However, it's essential to understand that the Navigator functions more like a gear than a traditional hero. Navigators do not participate in battles or launch attacks, and bonuses from trinkets, such as the 27% critical rate from Cross Spear, do not apply to the ship. Instead, only 30% of their attributes, including strength, dexterity, constitution, and agility, are contributed to the ship.

To maximize your ship's potential, consider the following tips:

Legendary Heroes and Trinkets: Equipping a legendary hero with a legendary trinket provides a higher attribute contribution than an epic or rare combination. However, max-level legendary trinkets might be impractical for Navigators due to their high cost. Opt for practical choices like the Tyrant's Hand epic trinket.
Hero Selection: Any unused legendary hero can be chosen as a Navigator. While Firepower, Defensive, and Support heroes are available, extra legendary defensive and support heroes are typically scarce. Therefore, legendary Firepower heroes are generally the best choice for a Navigator.
Astral Essence: The Key Resource
Astral Essence is crucial for enhancing Radiance in the game. You can obtain up to 320 Astral Essence daily from Legends of Conquest by completing daily missions and achieving high rankings. Additionally, earning 100 Astral Essence from daily Pirate Legend missions means you can unlock the first Navigator on a ship in just six days.

For those looking to boost their Astral Essence quickly, consider purchasing from Value Packs, Weekly Specials, and Monthly Special Deals.

Radiance Enhancement: Boosting Your Ship's Power
Radiance Enhancement consists of artifacts and ship enhancements. Each enhancement unlocks power and Radiance effects at specific levels. Here's a quick rundown of the essential enhancements:

Golden Compass: Grants more daily uses and reduces quick exploration and treasure hunt costs. However, it's less useful after fully exploring the map, so it's not a priority.
Storm Horn: Increases usage limit, duration, and sailing speed. However, due to the abundance of horns from treasure hunts, it's also not a priority.
Sea Soul Mirror: Highly recommended, as it reduces Echo and Hymm conchs required for daily recruitment and increases construction speed by up to 5%. This enhancement saves money and time.
Eye of the Sea: Reduces recovery time and increases teleportation limits and sailing speed. Not a priority due to low daily teleportation use.
Hourglass: Reduces construction, production, and stargaze time by up to an additional 12 hours. Its Radiance effect increases sailing speed and enables auto-trade with the smuggling warrant. This is a highly recommended enhancement.
Ship Enhancement: Leveling Up for Success
Ship enhancement is a time-consuming process with each ship having 30 levels of enhancements. Upgrading increases the ship's attack and HP bonuses and unlocks Radiance effects at levels 5, 10, 15, and 20. Notably:

Level 5 and 20: Unlock the first and second Navigators on the ship.
Level 10: Reduces critical damage received by 20%.
Level 15: Increases critical resistance by 10%.
These enhancements are particularly beneficial against enemies relying on critical hits. We recommend prioritizing battleship enhancements to level 5, followed by flagship upgrades. Once these reach level 5, focus on completing the Sea Soul Mirror and Hourglass enhancements before gradually upgrading battleships to level 20.
