I bought a Sandeel Rake from Ribb Rakes in the U.S recently and this is me attempting to get some for bait. The rake works well, but the Sandeels seem to be in short supply compared to a few years ago. I also think first thing in the morning on a spring tide would be better. I managed to get some very small ones and a couple of medium sized ones on this occasion. The location is a sand bar at the entrance to Christchurch Harbour on the south coast of England.
