In this video, we’ll demonstrate how Quadversity mode provides coverage in some of the most difficult RF environments.

Quadversity mode, available exclusively on Axient Digital (AXT) quad receivers, intelligently combines the signal from four antennas to increase signal strength and extend coverage.

In a large venue such as a theater, you can arrange your antennas to create two distinct zones. One zone covers the stage, while a second zone backstage is available to prep performers. Dual zones allow the performers to move from the dressing room to the stage without losing signal.

Stadiums or other large outdoor venues can be difficult to cover since crowds, distance, and other obstacles limit range. Placing an antenna in each corner provides a direct line-of-sight to capture transmitter signals from any angle. Placing four antennas on the stage of an outdoor venue provides coverage for all performers. Using multiple antennas in a focused area allows you to get above the noise floor and improve the overall signal strength.

Once you have positioned your antennas, set the receiver to Quadversity mode. In the Device Configuration menu, navigate to Device RF and select Quadversity. Select ENTER to reboot the receiver and enable Quadversity mode. During the reboot, the receiver will revert to factory settings and temporarily go off-line. The 4-antenna Quadversity icon appears when the reboot is complete.

In Quadversity mode, the receiver transforms from a 4-channel device to a 2-channel device. Channels 1 and 3 become the active interfaces for syncing, editing, and monitoring. Note how the audio and RF meters are reconfigured. Use the channel buttons to select and access menus.
