To begin with, as the power port is built onto the motherboard, you must be very careful not to break it off. Next, with heavy use, the port covers tend to come off. Additionally, the mousepad wears out quickly in comparison to other units. Furthermore, when replacing the Gobi card, the mounts can break if screwed down too tightly.

Finally, if you are replacing the screen, you must first unplug the unit and then run it before doing any work. You will short out your motherboard without doing so, and the motherboard will need to be replaced.
