黃翊誠是台大研究所高材生，卻只唸一年就休學，回台南七股，跟著阿公養蚵。

「阿公那時說：『早知道要回來養蚵，書也不必唸那麼多！』」

養蚵人家出海工作，吃的常是海上獨門料理「蚵蚵泡麵」。

蚵媽：「就地取材，就是蚵仔嘛！九層塔，把它放在泡麵上面沖，你看，有一種香味出來了。」​

翊誠回鄉養蚵，人生轉彎遇到愛，他與小學同學沛珊重逢。為了愛，沛珊甘心放棄美國工作回台。翊誠說，如果自己當初沒有回到七股，就不會跟老婆在一起，更不會有現在三個可愛的小孩。

一粒蚵仔，讓翊誠走上創業路，從養蚵，網路上賣蚵仔，到夜市擺攤烤生蠔。翊誠一路闖出「蚵男」名號，更把曾經分散各地的家人，重新串連起來。

蚵妹：「如果沒有這片蚵田，我哥也不會變蚵男嘛！」

After securing a place in a graduate program at one of Taiwan's most prestigious universities, Huang Yi-cheng suddenly threw caution to the wind and quit everything to take a gamble on the family's oyster farming tradition back in his hometown. After learning the ropes from his grandparents, he made a name for himself as Oysterman selling oysters online and at night markets before finally opening his own restaurant.
