On November 2018, our youngest son Cubbie, was officially adopted by us after over a year of being together. Due to so many different circumstances, it took longer than usual for a typical U.S. Domestic Adoption to be finalized, but we made it. And as for our oldest son, Luca, we were able to do his Re-Adoption on the same day! Although his Korean Adoption was official when we took custody, a Re-Adoption here in the states allowed us to officially change his name. (I have no idea why that doesn't happen when he gets his citizenship but anyway!). Even though we always felt like we were a family of four...this day made everything official for us. It was a lot more emotional than I expected it to be.
