Baumstam – On Tour 1972 (Germany, Krautrock/Hard Rock) Full Album

Описание к видео Baumstam – On Tour 1972 (Germany, Krautrock/Hard Rock) Full Album

The only album by a German band that played hard rock in the British spirit. The album is not “live”, as one might think, judging by the title. The name is taken from the first song of the disc, which immediately defines the band's style, set by riffs of very hard fuzzed guitar. In some places, features characteristic of “Deep Purple” slip through, for example, in “Lucky Strike”. Exceptions to the general style of the group are the psychedelic “Hold Me” and “Last Letter”, and perhaps the final “He's A Liar” too. To the 9 tracks of the main album, 4 cool bonuses have been added (the recording, however, is rather lousy) with a total duration of 27 minutes, two of them - “Arbeit” and “Leben” - in German, and the style of the bonuses is not as straightforward hard rock as on the main album, but with a much greater emphasis on heavy prog. The original record was released in 200 copies. At auction in 2004, it cost 900 euros, setting a record price for vinyl at that time. And this despite the fact that since 1994 the album has been reissued several times on CD...
